The Prince of Wales Will Participate in UN Climate Conference in Brazil
The Prince of Wales will represent the COP30 climate summit in South America during November, according to palace sources.
The father and son duo appeared together on Thursday night at a reception leading up to the environmental conference, which is set to be held in the Amazonian city of Belém.
The royal pair were in attendance at the Natural History Museum reception, marking an rare public appearance together at a climate summit preparatory event arranged together with the United Kingdom administration.
Environmental Advocacy Dedication
The King has been a consistent supporter of environmental conservation - and the Prince of Wales has taken on the baton, with his own environmental prize initiative, which will be hosted in Rio preceding the COP summit.
Official representatives have portrayed Prince William's attendance at the forthcoming conference as stepping up an crucial position in "climate diplomacy".
Previous Activities
The King and Prince of Wales, arriving together in the state Bentley, were greeted guests including conservation experts, scientists, climate change campaigners, foreign representatives and government officials.
This participation included speaking in concert with President Emmanuel Macron of France and other world leaders at the Ocean Finance Summit in Monaco in recent months.

The UN meeting will align with the prince's own Earthshot environmental awards, which will conclude in the Brazilian city the eve of he participates in the COP summit on the sixth of November.
